Account deletion

How to delete your Morrowly account, what happens to your data, and how long you have to change your mind.

Delete it yourself, from the app

  • On the web, open Settings, then Close account.
  • On mobile, open Settings, then Account, then Delete account.
  • You'll be asked to confirm by typing your email address, so it can't happen by accident.

What happens immediately

  • Your account is scheduled for deletion and you're signed out of every device.
  • Any active subscription is cancelled first, so you're never charged for an account that's on its way out.
  • You stop appearing to teammates, and nobody can sign in to the account.

The 60-day grace period

  • Deletion is not instant. Your data is held for 60 days in case the request was a mistake or you change your mind.
  • To cancel the deletion, simply sign in again within those 60 days: the account is restored as it was.
  • After 60 days the data is removed permanently and cannot be recovered by you or by us.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, login and settings.
  • Businesses you own, along with their products, customers, invoices, quotations, sales, expenses and documents.
  • Files you uploaded, including logos, product images and receipts.
  • Businesses you were only a member of are not deleted: you are simply removed from them.

What we keep, and why

  • Records of completed payments are retained where South African tax and financial-record law requires it, for as long as that law requires.
  • These records are kept for compliance only and are not used to contact you or to rebuild your account.

If you can't sign in

  • Email info@five2nineprojects.com from the address on the account and ask for it to be deleted.
  • We may ask a question or two to confirm the account is yours before acting.
  • Requests are actioned within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
